It’s a new semester and officially the start of the new frisbee season! We prepared and worked hard in the fall. Veterans of the game are ready to get back on the field and our rookies are eager to show the frisbee community all they’ve got. We’re excited to announce that Stacked is going to get a new set of threads for the new year! Whoop!
We've changed up our practice times for the Spring semester.
Our practices are now from 7 - 9 pm @ Penberthy Fields.

Stacked now also has a Twitter! We'll be posting scores during tournaments and other fun things. Follow us and Tweet!

New players. New jerseys. Bigger and better goals.

It’s gonna be a great year for frisbee!

We were in the news!

This season we were given the opportunity to host sectionals! In preparation, we got some local media attention. The Eagle came out to one of our practices and asked us all about Ultimate, then took pictures of one of our lovely practices. KBTX also wrote up an article about our team and some information on Sectionals.

Check out the articles and the sweet pictures they took of us!

Post-Season Wrap Up

We went to Kansas City, MO this past weekend to compete in D-I College Women's South Central Regionals. It was cold and muddy the first day, but we fought to end up 2nd in our pool. The next day had great weather, but still lots of mud, and we ended our season placing third. Texas' team, Melee, advances to Nationals, so good luck to our fellow Texans! To see the scores, visit - http://scores.usaultimate.org/scores/#college-womens/tournament/12546.

Thanks again to Spiro for coaching us and driving us around KC. Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Prucha for letting some of us invade and providing tarps, warm clothes, and snacks for the whole team. Shout out to all our graduating players, we're going to miss you and can't wait to see where you go. Come back and visit!

We wish everyone a happy rest of the semester, and we'll be back again in the fall ready to dominate our tournaments and most of all have some fun! Find someone to play with over the summer. As always, please contact any officers if you are interested in playing next semester. It's never to early to let us know you want to join!

Look forward to more pictures of this season up on the site soon!

BTHO finals and happy summer!

Thanks and Gig 'em!

Sectionals and Regionals

We played at Oak Point Polo fields last weekend in a windy, but AMAZING, tournament! We went 6-0 for the whole weekend, meaning that we are your 2013 Sectional Champions!! Everyone worked so hard, and we had lots of tough points, but we won out in the end. To see the scores, visit http://scores.usaultimate.org/scores/#college-womens/tournament/12538. This also means we've advanced to Regionals! They will be taking place April 26-27th in Kansas City, MO. We just hope it won't be as cold as the last time we were in Missouri!

Shout out to our coach, Spiro, for making sure we were playing the game our way and constantly giving us advice, the Harris and Prucha families for feeding and housing us, Kris Lewis for letting some of us crash at his place, the Reid and Smith family, Courtney and Alexandria/Baby Number 1, former member Janie, and many other friends and family members for coming out to support us!!

Stay tuned for pictures!

And as always, if you're interested in playing, come on by a practice and talk to one of the officers.

Thanks and Gig 'Em!

Spring has Sprung!

Howdy! The Spring season has kicked off, and it's been a huge success so far!

We went to the Houston Anti-Freeze Tournament down at Rice and went 6-2 over the weekend for an overall ranking of 2nd place! Everyone worked so hard, big shout out to all the rookies who played all out and all the veterans fearlessly providing great examples to follow. Another huge shout out to Mr. Polasek for letting 16+ girls crash his house and providing us food! Thanks to the families and friends who came out to cheer us on, and as always, thanks to Spiro for coaching us. We all learned a great deal and we're pumped to see what will happen at the next tournament.

As always, practice is open at anytime for anyone interested in joining. We're out on Penburthy fields (between George Bush and Reed Arena, and behind Ellis Fields [the soccer fields]) every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 6-8 pm. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact any of our officers. If you are planning on joining us try to bring:

  • Enthusiasm!

First Practice

We hope everyone has had a great first week of school. With everyone having survived that, it's time to get to practicing Ultimate! Our practices will be held on Mondays and Thursdays at 5:30-7:30 pm on Simpson Drill Field. We hope to see y'all out there some time soon. Again, bring a white and a colored shirt if you can, athletic shoes (cleats are prefered), lots of water, and great enthusiasm!

After TODAY'S practice only, we'll be having a spaghetti dinner for everyone to thank y'all for coming out and to get to know everyone better.

We also have TWO profit shares this week! Our first one is Tuesday at 5:30-7:30 pm at Cold Stone Creamery's. The second one is Wednesday at 7-10 pm at Yogurtland. Hope to see you out there as well!

Thanks and Gig 'em!

Fall Beginnings

Howdy and Welcome (back) to Texas A&M!! The Fall semester is about to start and we are so excited! We just wanted to welcome anyone who is interested in joining! We hope you enjoy the sport as much as we do. The first practices are nothing to worry about, we have all been there and will teach you everything you need to know (i.e. throwing, cutting, and catching). The basics. Don't worry if it seems like lots to learn, we'll try to break it up into manageable bits of Ultimate knowledge! We try and keep it easy and we welcome any questions you have.

What you'll need to bring:

  • Cleats (if you have them) or Athletic running shoes
  • A white and a colored shirt
  • Water
  • Any Discs, if you have any

Keep checking back for our new practice times, and please come out and bring a friend. Talk to anyone of the officers if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you!

Semester Wrap Up

Stacked has had a great semester playing at Centex, Sectionals, and ending with an amazing run at Regionals in Colorado resulting in 3rd Place. They went in seeded 8th, and showed everyone how wrong they were! A big thanks to everyone who has supported us over the semester(s) and continues to do so. We've got a new slate of officers for next year and hope everyone has a great summer break.
